Google: Pixel Screenshots
Searched and Rescued
In a student partnership with Google Creative Lab*, our team worked to bring Pixel Screenshots more recognition. As a new feature exclusive to the Pixel 9 series, Pixel Screenshots itself should be worth the upgrade.
With most smartphone users holding a dense archive of screenshots, important information often gets buried, along with its intention. Soon, the beloved screenshots become unrecognizable from the other 500 files that were meant for the trash bin long ago. Don’t worry… Pixel Screenshots will help you find them.
Gremlin Mode
| In-app game
We wanted to find a way to get people to interact with the app more often than they need to, so they learn it and form a new habit. And while we might be worried that people won’t use the app, we’re really worried about what happens to the screenshots when they are forgotten.
Inspired by Chrome’s Dino Dash, Gremlin Mode is a wave-based game integrated into the Screenshots app. And, just like Dino Dash – “Pixel Screenshots runs on device – no internet connection needed.”
